USF seeks participants in Polk County for dementia-prevention study
Older adults in Polk County can make a contribution to science while possibly reducing their risk of developing dementia. The University of South Florida is seeking local participants in a study to measure the effects of “brain games” on delaying mental decline. The university recently received a $44.4 million federal grant to continue its Preventing Alzheimer’s with Cognitive Training (PACT) study.
