The University of Maine Institute of Medicine has announced its first spring seminar series, with Zoom events scheduled 3â4 p.m. every Friday from Feb. 12âMarch 5. All events are free, but registration is required. The series kicks off Feb. 12 with âThe Social and Ethical Implications of Precision Medicine,â presented by sociologist Katherine Weatherford Darling, also an assistant professor of sociology with the University of Maine at Augusta.
