Construction work on Anglesey’s latest 21st century primary school will begin in the coming weeks. A turf cutting ceremony is set to take place on the site of the new Ysgol Corn Hir school, in Llangefni, on Friday, June 11 to officially mark the start of the project. The cost of the new school will be in the region of £10m; with funding provided by the Isle of Anglesey County Council and the Welsh Government’s 21st Century Schools and Colleges Programme.
