Marion recorded a total of 14,744 COVID-19 related cases, which was up 146 compared to Friday. The amount of deaths increased from 413 reported on Friday to 421, according to Saturday's report. Marion County is in the top 20 of Florida's 67 counties for COVID-19 related cases and deaths, the numbers show. Although Volusia, Seminole, Pasco, Osceola, Manatee, Leon, Escambia and Collier Counties have more COVID-19 related cases than Marion County, the deaths for those counties are fewer than Marion County.
