Comcast RISE awards another $1 million in grants to minority-owned small businesses in Philly
Comcast RISE has unveiled the 100 Philadelphia small businesses owned by women and people of color that will receive $10,000 grants as part of the program's 2022 awards. Founded during the COVID-19 pandemic, the program supports businesses that have 25 or fewer employees and that have been operating for at least three years. Comcast RISE has invested $16 million in grants and $75 million in marketing and technology services to small businesses, helping more than 9,500 entrepreneurs in 37 states since its inception.
