NEW YORK (AP) — Richard Lewis, an acclaimed comedian known for exploring his neuroses in frantic, stream-of-consciousness diatribes while dressed in all-black, leading to his nickname “The Prince of Pain,”
The performer also had roles in the sitcom "Anything But Love" and the film "Robin Hood: Men in Tights."
Lewis, well known for his role in "Curb Your Enthusiasm," stepped down from stand-up comedy last year when he announced he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
