Thursday, 24 Dec 2020 PETALING JAYA: Two men, one posing as an ustaz (religious teacher) and the other as an Immigration officer, were detained for cheating and robbery. The first suspect, calling himself “Ustaz Don” @Hilmi, had offered to treat a 50-year-old foreign woman via traditional means at her home in Desa Mentari flats at about 11.15am on Monday. In the midst of the so-called treatment, the “Immigration officer” barged into the housing unit and demanded for the victim’s belongings, said Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal. “The second suspect took the victim’s phone, RM1,500 in cash and jewellery. ....
