Memorial Day speaker asks Americans to be worthy of sacrifice
Parrot rifle dedicated in honor of Battery D Kevin Lynch Ashland Times-Gazette Communities across the country commemorated the fallen heroes of American armed forces with ceremonies on Memorial Day. Ashland and Holmes counties were no exceptions. Addressing the crowd at Ashland Cemetery was Mayor Matt Miller. The service was held after a parade that had about 70 units. A large crowd lined West Main Street as the parade traveled west to the Ashland Cemetery for the Memorial Day service.
