AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Homeless advocates and the City of Amarillo thanked shelters today for their work to provide protection during the recent dangerous cold blast.
City of Amarillo Director of Community Development Jason Riddlesburger said he had no doubt the four emergency facilities saved lives.
The shelters include the Guyon Saunders Resource Center, Faith City Mission, Salvation Army and Amarillo Housing First Code Blue Warming Station. ....
