Bromley FC will go head to head against five other football clubs to bid for a £25k bursary next week, after being shortlisted for an award in recognition of its contributions in the community, The club was shortlisted for its efforts during the pandemic, which saw members engaged in food and essential drop offs for supporters and members of the community as well as donations to local foodbanks. It has also operated a Community Support Careline, aimed at helping the elderly and vulnerable within the local community. Bromley FC’s clubhouse improvement plans will also enable it to increase the use of its facilities among local community groups.
