24-year-old charity perry 22-year-old bricket webster. the first victim kristin smith was last seen in december. her body was the first one discovered. all the bodies were found in three months and 100 miles from each other in and around the portland area. the victims were discovered in remote wooded areas. police have not released a cause or manner of death for any of the women. officially their deaths are considered suspicious. police say they have identified a person of interest and the public is no longer at risk. the oregonian and other media in portland report that the person of interest is 38-year-old jesse calhoun a portland man with a rap sheet going back to 20 years. his latest felony convictions were in 2019 but his sentence was commuted a year earlier in 2021 by then governor kate brown. two weeks ago the commutation was revoked by the current governor at the request of police. oregon public broadcasting reports governor brown pardoned or commuted the sentences of 48,390 cr ....
