Police discover drugs during traffic speed check in villages
A DRIVER was found in possession of a controlled drug as police were hosting a pop-up event. Community officers visited East Saltoun and Gifford on Sunday, with residents raising concerns about speeding and inconsiderate cycling. A spokesperson for Police Scotland said that officers also carried out speed checks in the area and used cut-out officers, which are designed to encourage drivers to slow down.
