Heavenly Mountain Resort and Northstar California Resort will expand terrain for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, officials announced Wednesday. Heavenly will open Orion on Thursday, an intermediate run accessed off Dipper Express, boosting the open terrain to 2.3 skiable miles.
