Minister appeals to all eligible young beneficiaries to get vaccinated at the earliest
Hyderabad-based vaccine manufacturer Bharat Biotech on Thursday announced that its indigenously developed COVID-19 vaccine Coavaxin is now a universal vaccine for adults and children.
The study was conducted at the Emory Vaccine Center in Atlanta based on blood serum collected from 13 individuals, 28 days after their booster shot, the Bharat Biotech said.
Vaccine manufacturer Bharat Biotech said the booster dose of Covaxin has generated robust neutralising antibody responses against both Omicron (B.1.529) and Delta (B.1.617.2), using a live virus neutralisation assay.
