PANO – The General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army held a conference on January 5 to assign missions of joining the International Army Games 2023 (Army Games 2023) to relevant units.
This year's games gathered 270 teams from 34 countries of Europe, Asia, Africa, and for the first time of South America. The largest teams came from Belarus, Uzbekistan, Iran, Armenia, and China. The total number of participants of the International Army Games 2022 exceeded 4,500 people.
Viktor Gulevich said that the Confident Reception competition of the International Army Games brings together military personnel from various countries. The competition offers an opportunity to share cutting-edge practices regarding the establishment of communication.
The tank team of Vietnam will compete with rivals from China, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan in Group 2 of the “Tank Biathlon” semifinals at the ongoing Army Games 2022 on August 24.
