Days. bret, give us an idea of these triggers, what they will mean and how they will work. shep it, all comes down to joint committee. 12 lawmakers, 6 democrats. six republicans. if they don t get this august passed and but they don t get to the $1.5 trillion in cuts, by the end of the year, they make recommendations by thanksgiving, they have an up or down vote by the end of the year. if it doesn t work, they don t get consensus or the vote fails. it goes into this trigger area. this is essentially a penalty for that joint committee not doing that work. and it is $1.2 trillion in automatic cuts. across the board that includes half of that is defense. by the way, this it looks like it has passed, shep at 224. shepard: gabriel giffords is voting right now. that s the applause, listen.
