Members of Pi Beta Phi voted to disaffiliate from the sorority’s national umbrella organization, citing financial strain and cultural and political motives as their main reasons for severing ties. Campus news and notes Iacocca inducted into mathematics honor society WINDHAM, Conn. — Eastern Connecticut State University's Mathematical Sciences Department inducted 19 students into the Connecticut Beta Chapter of the Kappa Mu Epsilon National Mathematics Honor Society on April 23. Among the students inducted was senior Natalie Iacocca of Holden, who majors in mathematics. Established in 1931, KME recognizes students who have excelled in the field of mathematics.
