Peter Wharton pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply the class A drugs. The 42-year-old was jailed for four years at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday, January 6. Wharton was brought to justice as a result of a member of the public reporting suspected drug dealing activity in woodland adjacent to Humphreys Close in Murdishaw, Runcorn. An officer who attended the area on the morning of Tuesday, July 14, 2020, subsequently saw Wharton talking to another man.
