Christmas baskets help nearly 200 families

OKANOGAN — Food baskets will be distributed starting at 8 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, in the annual Omak-Okanogan Community Christmas Basket Project.

OMAK - The Omak Chamber of Commerce citizen of the year award is being shared by husband and wife, Stephen and Constanza Smith. The Smiths have been married 47 years.

OKANOGAN – Community members continued their holiday generosity this year, despite economic and personal setbacks from COVID-19. Several holiday giving projects received donations that allowed organizers to provide holiday meals and gifts to community members in need.
