Need better discipline among TV news channels: Supreme Court

The Supreme Court of India has called for stronger self-regulation among TV news channels to ensure discipline while protecting freedom of speech. The court asked the News Broadcasters Association (NBA) and News Broadcasters Federation (NBF) to suggest ways to strengthen the mechanism for dealing with errant channels.
