New Year Honours List: Chester military museum stalwart among those recognised
A LONGSTANDING regimental researcher from Chester is among those who have been recognised in the New Year Honours List. Geoff Crump, who has volunteered at the city's Cheshire Military Museum for more than 40 years, has been awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) for services to military heritage. The 65-year-old said he was "overwhelmed" by the honour and described his role at the museum as a "lifetime hobby".
