The periodical cicada known as Brood X will arrive in the millions in the Midwest over the next few weeks as the temperatures warm. There has been gift items, jewelry, homemade cards and décor items at a local farmers’ market I visit. Some farmers’market require you to order ahead for pick up. Other ones are open for people to walk around and check out what is available.
