Food bank thinks outside the box to save money as cost of cardboard soars
This year, Toronto's Daily Bread Food Bank packed more than 500 red Budweiser boxes with $25 worth of food instead of brew. With cardboard prices being driven up recently by everything from the U.S. dollar to the cost of wood pulp, the food bank chose to use the donated boxes to save money that could instead be spent on food.
