CNNW Anderson Cooper 360 August 8, 2018 04:00:00

Anderson Cooper takes viewers beyond the headlines with indepth reporting and investigations. What it does is put a huge number of seats in play for democratic enthusiasm. Now, thats going to result in a lot more republican spending than we had before. Maybe both sides get motivated on the money but republicans will have more money. So thats a big concern for democrats. I think the ground game in a close election like this matters. That infrastructure is there, and we have the money for that. Its more speaking with the voters. Like i said before nancy pelosi could be the speaker, they could have Subpoena Power and essentially grind to a halt. Things are going well. They need tawao wake up and understand democrats are motivated. If we can motivate our base i believe that can happen in november. They all know its an election in november and we tend to turn out in higher numbers in midterms. The

FOXNEWSW Fox News Night With Shannon Bream August 21, 2018 07:00:00

A recap of the days headlines and a look at whats in store for tomorrow. Executive order, the National Security exception in the Executive Order was invoked, we never had a situation where a president did it on his own, no process, no outline of what the concerns work and he just unilaterally revoked it. We dont know how the court would view this. The president suggesting we get discovery and go back through your emails and find out how much you are paid to get on different shows and other things. Is that enough to scare john brennan away from this . I dont think so. When he shows up is fairly political. If he has merit to his claim or argument to the story, there are reasons for both sides, some say the president wants to continue if it benefits them, brennan says it benefits them because as you could see, playing the role of martyr, it is unclear how this plays out beca ....

Mood light about the economy? well, as i said, the numbers look good. the country is stable. all of the indicators, anecdotal as well as others, suggest that people are relatively happy. incomes are growing, unemployment is low, so the snapshot reflects the accurate position of the economy today but the main discussion will be about how to bring the economy forward. again as steve mentioned, there is a lot of spending in the industrial complex which is a key driver of economic growth but clearly it is not sustainable long term. a lot of discussion this week, and continuing, is about, how does the economy evolve from military industrial complex? how does spending, how does it use that as a platform for expanding the economy later for ....

How do we contend with this? how do we make sure we have public infrastructure that s ready for what s happening in the southwest? that s one. and then, two, also the impact of heat on food. we now know 500 million people across the world will be at risk of starvation because of heat-related issues. so this is not just heat exhaustion, the impact of heat on the body, it s also what happens to our food supply. so let me go back, if i can, jeff, because in the lead in i said that one expert called this a heat wave said there was a heat wave scenario that keeps climate scientists up at night. you were the person who said that. what that we haven t touched on right now, real world, keeps you up at night? well, i think just the understanding of what s causing these heat waves. i mean, you know, these heat waves are being caused by our continuing to burn fossil fuels, putting c02 into the atmosphere. ....

The people who push the lies. we have seen several of trump s aides and lawyers indicted or convicted for the same 2020 efforts. others facing sanction like they won t be allowed to practice law anymore. fox paid one of the largest defamation cases in history, you see it right here, again, over these lies and other cases related continuing, including the $2 billion plus smartmatic case. it turns out lying about the election is very, very expensive and that s the way it s supposed to be. nobody actually goes to prison in defamation cases but they set a cost that s so high, even businesses that are only interested in profits, maybe not honesty, have to back down sometimes. it seems that keeps happening as long as people keep repeating trump s election lies. we ll be right back. and it could strike at any time. think you re not at risk? wake up. because shingles could wake up in you. if you re over 50, talk to your doctor or pharmacist ....
