Seeking an exemption from the mandate in the affordable care act that requires employer health plans to cover all methods of birth control, including contraceptive, without a copayment. they said that was based on religious grounds. now, according to hobby lobby ceo and founder david green, he says, quote, by being required to make a choice between sacrificing our faith or paying millions of dollars in fines, we essentially must choose which poison pill to swallow. we simply cannot abandon our religious believes to comply with this mandate. according to the company s mission statement, they re quote, honoring the lord in all we do by operating the company in a manner consistent with biblical principles. if the supreme court rules hobby lobby can impose those believes on its employees, how much farther would a company be allowed to go? as our new poll shows, a majority of americans don t believe a company should be exempt from the mandate based on religion. on tuesday we ll get a first ....
