TEN cyclists will tackle 98 miles of winding roads in Snowdonia to raise funds for a mental health charity in Conwy. Paul Stock said he was inspired to organise the eight-hour cycle amid a rise in demand for mental health services during lockdown, which he himself sought after suffering from anxiety and depression. The cyclists, aged 30 to 60, four of whom are from Conwy, three from Anglesey and four from Cheshire, as well as four supporting crew members, are aiming to raise £1,000 which they hope will help Conwy Mind to provide its services to people in the area. BETSI Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) is hosting a virtual stall focusing on the COVID-19 vaccination and testing programme at its health and wellbeing event this week. On Thursday, February 25, the Bite Sized Health and Wellbeing event brings together a range of online stalls from various organisations and charities including BCUHB, Diabetes UK, Flint Library and Wellbeing Hub, British Liver Trust, Conwy Mind, Age Cymru and many more. The BCUHB virtual stall will be open at various times throughout the day for people to drop into via session links to Microsoft Teams. The stall will be about the COVID-19 Test, Trace and Protect programme, and will present the latest information on the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme. Members of staff will also be available to answer questions placed in the chat option. ....
