As Easter rapidly approaches, it’s worth thinking about what to drink with our favourite festive treat, chocolate. Increasing numbers of us are taking chocolate more seriously, buying premium examples and savouring them properly. Also, certain drinks clash really badly with the sheer sweetness and rich, mouth-coating texture of chocolate. Try a glass of dry sparkling wine or rosé with a small piece – actually don’t, as the chocolate will completely overpower your wine, rendering it thin and acid
