An appeal has been made for a safety rail to be erected under the railway bridge on the Platin Road. Cllr Stephen McKee said the stretch of road was very busy, leading down to John's shop. 'Be it Louth CC or Meath CC, people walk between both areas here and it's a danger for people with buggies. There is a real under the bridge at Coolagh Street,' he explained.
