Attorneys representing former Douglas County School District Superintendent Corey Wise filed a wide-ranging open records request Friday and gave notice to the school district to preserve evidence related to his firing by the new majority on the district’s school board.
The list of Douglas County teachers who called out of school for various reasons on the same day hundreds protested the imminent firing of the superintendent was not released Wednesday after the person who filed the public records request for the names withdrew their request.
