The Orange went 0-of-3 on power-play opportunities while the Catamounts scored one of their goals on a power play.
"There were some opportunities off of rebounds that we just couldn’t find pucks on." SU couldn't capitalize on its 41 shots in the loss to the Catamounts.
"I think that's the best 60 minutes we've played this season so far." Despite the 3-1 loss, SU still played stout defensively against No. 13 Vermont.
While Syracuse allowed three goals to Vermont, it improved defensively as the Catamounts only registered 24 shots.
