The Calgary Flames promptly handled their business Saturday afternoon beating up on a Sharks squad close to the bottom of the standings. For whatever reason the pattern of Calgary struggling against other non-playoff teams doesn’t apply to the Sharks – the Flames find regular success against them.
From a couple of high-flying games that saw every player going full tilt against a pair of top 5 NHL teams to a prime-time Saturday night match-up against the Minnesota Wild where everyone in the stands fell asleep about the second period – the Calgary Flames are all over the map.
After a couple of losses its nice to play a game where the bounces start going your way. The Calgary Flames took advantage of Buffalo’s bad rush defence and inability to defend in front of their net.
