Starting this fall, students at Augustana University will be able to minor in the field of brewing and fermentation. Classes will include both applied science and business and marketing.
As part of the minor, students will take a capstone course where they will come together to design, produce and market a beverage.
The honeybees have been rehomed with an off-campus beekeeper and may be donated at a later date, according to Augustana's sustainability director.
