Ontario judge found delays in providing information to retired lieutenant-general Trevor Cadieu lawyers meant the case would not be tried within the strict 18-month time limit
Retired Lt.-Gen. Trevor Cadieu, who once returned from fighting in Ukraine to face sexual assault charges, received a stay from a Kingston, Ont., judge Tuesday, who ruled his delayed trial violated his rights.
Cory Gelowitz is charged with one count of sexual assault. The case will be handled through the civilian justice system in Kingston.
