Galesburg Police were dispatched to OSF St. Mary's Medical Center on Friday, February 18th, for a female victim of a domestic battery. The victim, with visible injuries to both wrists and a severely swollen knee, told police 41-year old Cory Ward of Galesburg beat her up and took her phone preventing her from calling the police. The altercation occurred after Ward tried to kick the victim out of his house. Police responded to the residence in the 500 block of Lincoln Street.
