Cap Henry continued his hot streak to open the 2023 racing season with a late race pass to take the 410 sprint win at Fremont Speedway on May 20.
Late in the 2022 season, Cap Henry lost his sprint car ride. The Republic, Ohio driver didn’t know what the future might hold, but a conversation with Jeff Ward of Sandusky, who put together a team a couple of years ago, gave him new life in racing.
Elmore driver Alvin Roepke and Lindsey 305 sprint car racer Steve Rando were honored as Fremont Speedway put a wrap to the 70th anniversary season by handing out point fund money and awards at an informal gathering Sunday, Nov. 28 at the Flower Building in the Sandusky County Fairgrounds.
