QC says it was discrimination

Article by Social Share Queen’s Counsel Hal Gollop has accused the current Barbados Labour Party administration of “picking out some [shops] and shutting down others” in the measures it put in place to halt the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Gollop and attorney Neil Marshall are representing trade unionist and Opposition Senator Caswell Franklyn, as well as businessmen Benson Straker and Adrian Kellman, who have brought constitutional motions against the Attorney General challenging the emergency management protocols.
