Hello. this is bbc news with rebecca jones. more now on our main story. the prime minister is to address his mps in private in a few hours, ahead of a confidence vote on his leadership of the conservative party. confirmation came this morning that the vote had been triggered after at least 5a mps wrote to sir graham brady, chair of the backbench 1922 committee, saying they no longer have confidence in mrjohnson. that vote will take place between six and eight this evening. there'll be a count straightaway, with the result expected at nine o clock. some tory mps began to turn against borisjohns...
