Police responded to a shooting call at 2 a.m. in the 4700 block of Country Creek Drive, near West Ledbetter Drive and Loop 12. Officers found the victim, identified as Edward Cade, in a car unresponsive with a gunshot wound. Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced him dead at the scene.
