A dispute that split the Alabama Democratic Party in 2018 and 2019 has surfaced again with a federal lawsuit challenging new bylaws approved in October 2019.
Randy Kelley, former first vice chair of the State Democratic Executive Committee, and Janet May, a former member of the SDEC and the Democratic National Committee, filed the lawsuit. ....
