Pick up litter and grow your own garden Nan Kirlin Many folks have said, myself included, “let’s get back to normal,” so this is the ticket! I’m so pleased to be able to visit my dad in person for the first time in over a year at his home at Brookdale Robinwood, and you know those folks in nursing homes, senior living and assisted living are jumping for joy to have this freedom. Now we are free to gather with other folks who are vaccinated and travel again! (At least for six months, stay tuned to the CDC).

Kenneth Mayner All Fayetteville Area System of Transit routes resumed full service Friday.  Contact tracing continues after several employees tested positive for COVID-19 last week. Henderson County News: County announces hazardous waste collection dates

Henderson County Solid Waste will resume its annual Household Hazardous Waste and Paint collections this spring. Related Stories The collections will be 8 a.m.-noon March 9, April 13, and May 11. Chemicals, fertilizers and pesticides will be collected at the Henderson County Convenience Center at 265 Convenience Center Drive. Paint and other paint-related materials will be collected at a special entrance for the Transfer Station, located at 800 Stoney Mountain Road.
