I’m so pleased to be able to visit my dad in person for the first time in over a year at his home at Brookdale Robinwood, and you know those folks in nursing homes, senior living and assisted living are jumping for joy to have this freedom. Now we are free to gather with other folks who are vaccinated and travel again! (At least for six months, stay tuned to the CDC).

An employee can return to work after a negative test and clearance from the City’s Human Resource Development Office. The safety of employees and passengers is priority. Henderson County Solid Waste will resume its annual Household Hazardous Waste and Paint collections this spring. Related Stories The collections will be 8 a.m.-noon March 9, April 13, and May 11. Chemicals, fertilizers and pesticides will be collected at the Henderson County Convenience Center at 265 Convenience Center Drive. Paint and other paint-related materials will be collected at a special entrance for the Transfer Station, located at 800 Stoney Mountain Road.
