Dolby Cinema has unveiled an exclusive new poster for Halloween Kills as tickets for Dolby screenings of the film go on sale.

The Exorcist Trilogy: Universal and Blumhouse have announced the studios will release the first of three films based on The Exorcist IP on October 13, 2023. 

The Exorcist, forming a new trilogy with David Gordon Green directing the project on July 26, it was certainly a pleasant surprise. Not necessarily because of the prospect of it happening or the fact that Green helped revitalized The Halloween franchise, but rather star Ellen Burstyn and her return to the franchise reprising her role as Chris MacNeil from the 1973 William Friedkin-directed original. David Gordon Green is directing the upcoming Exorcist franchise with Blumhouse producing. Universal Pictures announced on Monday that they will be producing a new trilogy of The Exorcist movies, with Ellen Burstyn returning as Chris MacNeil. The movies, the first of which is set for release in October 2023, will be a continuation of the original, though there was no mention of Linda Blair, who played Chris MacNeil's possessed 12-year-old daughter Regan in the horror classic.
