If a sex-trafficked woman is coerced into a medical abortion but immediately wants to save her baby through APR through a doctor, then obstructing her choice via SB23-190 suggests that’s aiding and abetting sex-trafficking. SB23-190 violates the Federal Trafficking-in-Victims Protection Act (TVPA) and Colorado's anti-trafficking law HB14-1273, as well as HB22-1279 (RHEA, Reproductive Health Equality Act) which states, “A pregnant individual has a fundamental right to continue the pregnancy and give birth or to have an abortion. ...”
