NIMS Instructor Program Instructor Application and Renewal Process: If you wish to become a NIMS Instructor in Oklahoma, you must complete the NIMS Instructor Application located in the NIMS Instructor Manual and submit it to the Oklahoma Office of Homeland Security.  Please include all required documentation outlined in the application.  Upon approval of your application, you should receive a NIMS Instructor Card with an ID number to be used in future course authorizations.  Instructor certification is good for five years from the time of application or renewal. NIMS Training Advanced NIMS Courses (ICS-300 and ICS-400): The Oklahoma Office of Homeland Security (OKOHS) has partnered with OSU-FST to provide Intermediate and Advanced level NIMS ICS training to Oklahoma's responders.
