There are no new Covid-19 community cases to report, and seven new imported cases in managed isolation and quarantine, the Ministry of Health says. The active cases arrived from Cambodia via Singapore, Bahrain via the United Arab Emirates, and India via Qatar. Full travel history for the remaining four imported cases was still being determined. Two new cases who travelled via Singapore were in the same bubble. All new cases are in managed isolation facilities in Auckland and tested positive on day zero, one and three of their stays. One case tested positive on day eight after being identified as a contact of a case.

Cuba St's Floriditas restaurant told Instagram followers this morning that the business was broken into last night. "The two men who broke in have excellent taste in wine and will be drinking rather well for a wee while." The post said nobody was hurt and they are still able to trade normally today - however they can't take calls because "they took the work phone too".
A burglary at a Wellington restaurant, already impacted by Wellington's Covid scare 1 July 2021 Floriditas on Cuba Street was broken into overnight - with police called about quarter to two this morning. A post on the business's Instagram page says the two men who broke in ... have excellent taste in wine and will be drinking rather well for a while. It says nobody was hurt and they're still able to trade normally today - but can't take calls because the burglars took the work phone.
