Mumbai: Only 89 beneficiaries turn up for Covid-19 intranasal vaccine in 3 weeks, shows BMC data

“The doses are available to the senior citizens in CVCs and they can get a jab if they feel the need to take the intranasal precautionary dose. As the number of cases has decreased in Mumbai and WHO too has declared that Covid-19 no longer qualifies as a global emergency. Over 13.3 lakh precaution doses of Covid vaccines administered to beneficiaries in 18-59 age group

The total number of precaution doses given to the beneficiaries in the 18-59 age group has crossed 90 lakh, according to the Union health ministry. The number of vaccine doses given to the beneficiaries aged 60 years and above has gone past 2.78 crores.
