FORT SMITH -- City directors unanimously agreed to spend $2.85 million to build a second police precinct and training facility at 8200 U.S. 71 South.
The deal for this project is set to close on Friday with plans to hire an architect to design the facility at the old Crain Kia dealership on Highway 71.
