Two men were caught dealing drugs in a car in Bury – but police failed to detain one at the scene even though he returned after running away.
The incident happened at a home on Crenshaw Drive, near Weber Road, and appears to have been accidental.
MOUNT OLIVE TWP. â A 28-year-old Budd Lake man was arrested for eluding and a host of drug and driving offenses after he fled police not once but twice following an accident on Route 46 on Saturday, Dec. 19. According to police, Officer Gregory Slinger was on patrol in the Budd Lake area when, at 1:35 p.m., he saw a vehicle, minus a brake light and its driver not wearing a seatbelt, traveling on several streets in the neighborhood near the Budd Lake Diner.
