October 15, 1941 - December 5, 2020 Sun Prairie, WI - Sun Prairie, Wisconsin - Curtis Curt G. Johnson passed away peacefully on his own terms on Saturday, December 5th at the VA Hospital in Madison. He was 79 years old. Curt was born October 15th, 1941 to Donald and Doris (Bosben) Johnson in Madison, WI. He was united in marriage to RoseAnn (Nordness) Johnson on June 8th, 1963 at Our Saviours Lutheran in Sun Prairie. Together, they were married 48 years and gave birth to one daughter, Kym. Following Curt s graduation from Sun Prairie High School in 1959, he joined the United States Navy. He was honorably discharged and returned home to start his career as a laborer, then foreman with J.H. Findorff & Son Inc. in Madison. He celebrated his retirement after 35 years. In his retirement, he began working at the Marshall Sausage Kitchen, enjoyed tending to his flower garden and travelling with his wife, RoseAnn. Among many other things, Curt truly enjoyed hosting family gather ....
Radiothon 7:00 PM November 6, 2020 Each December, La Movida radio and the Catholic Multicultural Center team up for Radiothon, a bilingual fundraiser for CMC s many community services (free meals, a food pantry and legal assistance for immigrants are only a sampling). The celebration can t take place as usual this year, so join the Center at noon on Facebook Live; La Movida s broadcast begins at 1 pm (1480 AM/94.5 FM), featuring interviews with staff, volunteers and program participants.
