Firefighters were dispatched to the residence about 6:30 a.m. Friday, according to a social media post by the Crestview Fire Department. Two shifts of firefighters from the Crestview Fire Department assisted the North Okaloosa Fire District on scene. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire, but the home sustained substantial damage. No injuries were reported, according to the Crestview Fire Department. The cause of the fire has not been determined. The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office and Okaloosa County EMS assisted firefighters.
