THEY OFFER A LUNCH GAMES WARMTH AND RELAXATION TO THOSE THAT NEED IT BECAUSE YEAH, UNFORTUNATELY WYANDOTTE COUNTY WE DO NOT HAVE ANY PERMANENT SHELTER FOR HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS AND ESPECIALLY RIGHT NOW DURING THE DAY WITH THE LIBRARIES CLOSE AND FAST FOOD PLACES CLOSE PEOPLE DON’T HAVE A PLACE TO GO CROSSLINE SAYS THE PLAN IS TO OFFER A WARM SHELTER ALL DAY LONG UNTIL THESE BUSES SHOW UP AND TAKE FOLKS TO A NIGHT SHELTER AND THEY ARE BUST OVER TO 15TH AND CENTRAL WHERE THEY CAN STAY THE NIGHT THE WARMING CENTER PASSES OUTSIDE AND BOOTS COATS AND GLOVES. Cross-Lines Community Outreach received a $5,000 donation last Friday from the McDonald s Great Plains Co-op. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, more people are in need, and the donation from McDonald s will help the nonprofit provide direct assistance to at-risk families and single individuals affected by poverty.
